Strictly speaking, AI is a subfield of mathematics, statistics, and computer science.

But the AI boom of recent years raises an important question: What are the consequences of the rise of AI in human society? Who should be held responsible and who should cover the costs arising from wrong decisions by autonomous systems? How should we prepare the general population for the enormous impact of AI on the job market? How should we address the new privacy and veracity concerns brought about by the AI revolution? The goal of the HUMAN block is to address and discuss ethical, legal, and socio-economic aspects of AI.
