Introducing the next step in our long-term collaboration with universities and companies in the field of artificial intelligence. prg.ai Fellowship, under our auspices, will bring the most exciting opportunities for the professional AI community to develop their careers and participate in cutting-edge research.
The first job opportunities are now open at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC). Thanks, in no small part, to the support of the Czech technology company Seznam.cz. Specifically, this is a student and PhD position under the supervision of Jan Šedivý, a renowned expert in AI and a prg.ai board member. His NLP group at the CIIRC invites passionate students and researchers to join the fascinating world of Large Language Models (LLM).
And this is just the beginning. prg.ai Fellowship will expand and support groundbreaking AI research across multiple institutions with support from various private entities.
Student LLM Researcher positions
The NLP group at the CVUT CIIRC is seeking passionate students interested in Large Language Model (LLM) research. The team focuses on various aspects of model fine-tuning to enhance accuracy for specific topics, and delve into practical applications including chatbots, search, analytics, prompt injection, and explainability.

Doctoral LLM Researcher position

- Design and Implement: Develop and refine agentic systems to tackle complex tasks, including the design, parameterization, and assessment of various applications.
- Innovate: Research and develop cutting-edge approaches for LLM-based agentic code generation and optimization.
- Collaborate: Work alongside our LLM teams to continuously enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Analyze: Evaluate results to drive improvements and innovations in our LLM systems.

- Educational Background: Interested in starting PhD or have completed or be in the process of completing a PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Hands-on experience with natural language processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Familiarity with large language models, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, and/or simulation environments.
- Skills:
- Demonstrated creativity and a proactive approach to scientific problem-solving, as evidenced by publications and recommendations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Attributes: Highly self-motivated and innovative, with a passion for advancing the field of intelligent systems and LLMs.
